Balvinder Sopal

Balvinder Sopal (born 4 December 1978 in Chatham, Kent, England) is an English actress educated at the University of Huddersfield. Active since 2001, she made her stage debut in The Beautiful Violin and appeared in numerous theatre productions before transitioning to screen. Early credits include voicing Simran Kaur on the BBC radio soap Silver Street (2004–2010), a role in the TV film White Girl (2008), and guest appearances on Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Doctors and Hollyoaks from 2009 to 2018. Since January 2020, she has portrayed Suki Panesar‑Unwin on EastEnders, and in 2025, she joins the cast of Strictly Come Dancing. More on Wikipedia.
